If you knew this would be your last Advent, what would you do to make sure you are ready for Jesus?
These were some of the words our principal challenged the children with at today's morning message. How would we live our lives differently this season if there would never be another one for us?
If you could have only captured their faces - the shock value was incredible.
But, she's right. While some might think it is morbid to think about death, it is something that we need to face and consider. Only in death is true value brought to a life. Now, you might be thinking, hold on there sweetheart, but, again, just think about it. As I tell my children in the classroom, Christmas would have no meaning without the death and Resurrection of Jesus because it was in that act (not in His being born) that we were saved.
So, what should we do this Advent to make it different, to prepare our hearts that much more for Jesus' coming?
