Two more weekdays to go

Starting with a little randomness because, quite frankly, I am a random person...

Morning activity on Tuesday (true story problem!):

Sign up at the Expo in Chicago:

And...we're back.

Today was a decent day - Mass half days are usually like that. Yep. And volleyball was fun - the girls lost the match, but I promise they are getting better, straight arms and all. :) And each girl got a chance to serve, regardless of their ability to usually do so or not because, quite frankly, we could keep in the best players and win all the time, but I want these girls to get confidence and practice. And if that means losing every game but one, then that's what we'll do. At least we're having fun along the way.

Tomorrow should (key word, should) be a breeze as far as teaching goes - 2 specials (that's 1.5 hours of not teaching right there) plus a 1 hour time slot in which some players from the Cincinnati Reds baseball team are coming to talk to the 4th & 5th grades as well as the middle school students. Score! (Seriously, the kids were pretty pumped.) Oh, but that reminds me, I didn't schedule in math for tomorrow - and they have a test - need to change that schedule in the A.M...Whoops.

Goals for Thursday -->
1) Make it through the day without saying Robert's name 50 times;
2) Jog a few miles on the treadmill at the gym;
3) Try out Marisa's recipe for some southwest pasta phenomenon that my dad apparently now eats on everything; and
4) Go to bed at a decent/early time to catch up on some sleep.

Until next time, my friends...
